UN Action Annual Progress Report 2020

The UN Action Annual Progress Report 2020 provides an overview of the key initiatives and achievements of the UN Action against Sexual Violence in Conflict Network from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020, as they related to deliverables specified in the UN Action Strategic Framework for 2020-2025 and its attending 2020-2021 Workplan. This includes activities funded through the UN Action window of the CRSV-MPTF.

“In Their Own Words: Voices of Survivors of Conflict-related Sexual Violence and Service Providers” – a Digital Book

The Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict presents a digital anthology of testimonies from survivors of conflict-related sexual violence and service providers, spanning a dozen countries, including more than 150 testimonies from conflicts ranging from 1992 to the present. These personal narratives span a range of experiences, underscoring that survivors cannot be viewed or treated as a homogenous group. This digital book is a living document. Suvivors and service providers are welcome to share their stories to this online repository.

New partnership between the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict and the Inter-Parliamentary Union to end sexual violence in conflict

On the eve of the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict on 19 June, Under-Secretary-General Pramila Patten, Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict (SRSG-SVC) of the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict (OSRSG-SVC), and Martin Chungong, Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), signed a new Framework of Cooperation Agreement (The Framework).
